Join us on May 20, 2023 from 10AM-3PM for the KidsPeace FOSTER HOPE FESTIVAL! The event is open to the public with no cost for admission. The FOSTER HOPE FESTIVAL will include activities for the children along with vendors, raffles and information for adults on ways you can support or become a foster parent.

We are hopeful that the FOSTER HOPE FESTIVAL will become an annual event designed to not only recruit individuals and families interested in becoming foster parents with KidsPeace, but also provide our community with entertainment, resources, and connections.

VENDORS: Individuals and businesses within the Berks County/Muhlenberg area. Crafters and direct sales companies will not be duplicated. If you are a crafter or DS consultant, please contact KidsPeace before submitting your application to ensure another has not signed up. Payment is due at the time of application; vendors will not be accepted without both. Vendor applications and payments must be post-marked or dropped off at the KidsPeace building no later than Monday, May 8, 2023. All vendors will be notified of their acceptance via e-mail.

LOCATION: The FOSTER HOPE FESTIVAL will take place rain or shine in the fields behind the KidsPeace School at 704 Hay Rd. Temple, PA 19560 on May 20, 2023. The FOSTER HOPE FESTIVAL will take place from 10AM-3PM, with set up starting at 8:30AM. Additional vendor information and set up directions will be provided in the vendor information e-mail sent one week before.

EXTRAS: In our efforts to find individuals interested in becoming foster parents, during the event we will be hosting testimonials and having a panel discussion with some current foster parents. Community questions/input will be encouraged.
FOSTER PARENTS NEEDED: KidsPeace is a non-profit organization dedicated to serving the behavioral and mental health needs of children, families and communities. The Reading/Pottsville foster care program provides licensing, training, support, and supervision to individuals and families willing to provide foster care to local youth. There is an ongoing need for positive, loving families for kids; specifically for school-age kids, sibling groups, teens, and children with trauma history and special needs. If you or anyone you know is interested, please encourage them to reach out or attend this event. See less
