Join Moravian College astronomers for an evening under dark Hawk Mountain skies!
After a short introduction to the celestial celebrities of the evening in the Sanctuary Theater, we’ll journey outdoors to identify constellations, see the crescent moon, planets Mars and Saturn, double stars, open clusters, and galaxies through high-quality telescopes. Bring a flashlight and binoculars, and be prepared to be WOWED by some awesome views. If the weather is cloudy or inclement, the indoor program will be expanded to include how to explore the moon with binoculars.
$10 Members, $15 Non-Members
Limited to 30 participants.
