Homeschool Days at Reading Museum

Homeschool Families — Join educators from The Museum for an exciting morning filled with special tours and hands-on projects that the whole family can enjoy! Programs are designed for elementary school age students (younger and older siblings are welcome to participate).
All program participants will be required to sign a COVID-19 liability waiver to attend each program. ***The Museum is following all CDC recommended policies for programs and events. Click here to view our procedures***
October 6 – Spectacular Space
Blast off as we rocket into a morning filled with learning all about space and what makes our universe unique.
October 20 – Creative Chemistry
Join us in celebrating National Chemistry Week with a morning of science experiments and activities that are chem-tastic!
November 3 – It’s How Old?
Delve into the Museum’s collection as we explore some of the oldest artifacts in the collection and try your hand at recreating them.
November 17 – Magical Music
Groove into the day with a morning of music and art activities as you explore how guitars have influenced history and music.
December 1 – Artistic Math
Enjoy a morning combining math and art in fun and creative ways and explore ways that artists use math to create amazing art.
December 15 – Holiday’s Around the World
Ever wonder how other countries celebrate the holidays? Spend a morning traveling the globe without ever leaving RPM while learning about different countries holiday celebrations.
