Help the National Park Service kick off National Park Week April 20-27!

The Junior Ranger Program is a great way to explore national parks, learn why they matter, and how you can be part of the team that helps keep them healthy.

Hopewell Furnace National Historic Site invites kids and their families to come and “explore, learn, and protect” the park. Visitors can participate in a variety of activities to learn about the significance of Hopewell Furnace and its natural and cultural resources. Start at the Visitor Center to pick up the brand new Junior Ranger Activity Guide and your very own ranger hat before exploring the 19th century iron-making village. New Junior Rangers can return to the Visitor Center to receive an official Junior Ranger Badge and special Junior Ranger gift.
