These lectures are for middle school and high school students. We will cover one topic and enter into open discussion when the lecture is completed. Snack will be included. Cost will be $3 per child.

December 20, 3:30 – 4:30 pm: Where do Christmas Traditions Come From?
We will be discussing the roots of the traditions and customs that are seen during the holiday season. Why the yule log and a Christmas tree? Come and find out the answers.

February 21, 3:30 – 4:30 pm: Ancient Roman Status
The Ancient Roman’s society had a structure in place to distinguish between the upper and lower classes. We will be dicussing this class system and how it played out throughout the rise and fall of the Roman Empire.
